👋 I currently work as an ML engineer and data scientist at NuData Security, Mastercard, developing systems and models for real-time fraud detection, unique device identification and passive biometrics-based user classification. The algorithms and systems I develop help prevent account takeover attacks, identity thefts and reduce the costly cost of fraud for our clients. Apart from my full-time work, I am currently a part-time graduate student at the University of Texas as Austin studying computer science remotely.
I have also taught data science courses at BrainStation and mentored data scientists via the SharpestMinds mentorship program.
Previously, I worked in data science for a consultancy, KPMG, focused on solving machine learning, NLP and data engineering problems for clients in a variety of different industries. My work covered everything from gathering user requirements to delivering, and deploying models and applications aimed to solve client problems. I joined as the first data scientist in the team, and helped build a team of data scientists and software engineers.
If you share similar technology interests as me or are seeking some guidance navigating the world of data science and ML engineering, I would be happy to chat over a ☕.
